Choral Composition Festival
At this yearly choral music composition contest, the top six entries are performed by selected high school choirs. Each choir works with the composer of the piece to be performed in the evening concert. In addition, the Ithaca College Choir performs its annual commissioned work after having presented a workshop with the piece and the composer during the afternoon rehearsal and workshop. At the evening concert all the works are performed, and the winner of the Robert Campbell ’40, M.S. ’50 Endowed Choral Composition Prize is announced.
This year’s entries are:
Bend by Kyle Pederson
Cantate Domino by Clifford King
Gold! Gold! Gold! Gold! by Edmund Jolliffe
Heartbeat by Kyle Pederson
Kylie Eleison by Keene Southard
White Moon by Luke Flynn
