Frailty is a common clinical syndrome in older adults that carries an increased risk for poor health outcomes including falls, incident disability, hospitalization, and mortality. Often, frailty etiology is complex multifactorial and requires a multifactorial treatment approach. This workshop will include information on signs and symptoms of frailty syndrome, common treatment approaches. The role of physical therapy and a wellness treatment approach will be emphasized with a short section for practice and demonstration of a few helpful exercises to combat against frailty syndrome.
