The CFE is pleased to host Pathways Training, Thursday, September 7, 2017, 12:10- 1:00 pm, hosted in the Center for Faculty Excellence, 316 Gannett. Lunch will be provided.
Pathways is a mental health crisis prevention and intervention training program teaching you to recognize, respond to, and refer students in distress. The workshop is led by IC psychologist Paul Mikowski and will introduce participants to: identifying a potential mental health crisis, initiating a conversation with someone at risk, asking directly about suicidal thoughts, and making referrals to appropriate resources. Please RSVP by Wednesday September 6 so that we can order the right amount of food.
Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Kate Castle at firstname.lastname@example.org or (607) 274-3734. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
