Interested in radio? Come out to IC Radio's recruitment night to become a part of the best college radio stations in the nation (really)!

Not interested in radio? Come out to IC Radio's recruitment night to become a part of the best college radio stations in the nation (really)!

No radio experience is required, and you can be ANY major, ANY class standing!

Ithaca's 2 award-winning radio stations, WICB and VIC Radio, are looking for new students to join our staff! There are spots available in all departments! Get involved in on-air DJing, sports, news, production, promotions, public relations, and many other areas of radio.

Radio is the most fun on campus you can have, tbh.

WICB?
WICB is Ithaca College's FCC licensed radio station, heard locally at 91.7 FM. The station runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. WICB also streams online at wicb.org, the 92 WICB app, iHeartRadio app, and the TuneIn Radio app. The staple music format is modern rock/alternative rock, but we also have other specialty programs such as jazz, hip-hop, funk, folk, etc. In 2016, WICB was named the #1 college radio station in the country by The Princeton Review, as well as Ithaca's Favorite Local Radio Station according to the readers of the Ithaca Journal.

VIC Radio?
VIC Radio is Ithaca College's online-only radio station operating atvicradio.org. Along with indie alternative, VIC has many great specialty shows of all genres - EDM, middle school dance music, and Caribbean music, to name a few. New specialty show ideas are always welcome - news talk, sports talk, music, and more! The newest program development at VIC is their Sports Sunday, an entire day of sports broadcasting.
