Sustainability Café: FLEFF Film "The President's Dilemma"

The Pacific islands of Kiribati were among the last places to be colonized by humans. But now, because of rising sea levels, they may be among the first to be abandoned. Should Kiribati President Anote Tong surrender to climate change and evacuate? Can anything be done to help him buy more time? This film will explore the complex issue of global warming related to climate change and its impact on a remote, small island nation.

“Teachable edibles” – local, organic and/or seasonal snacks – for the Spring 2014 Sustainability Café series are being sponsored by Ithaca College Dining Services whose motto is “Sustainability – Healthy – Fresh.”  Please bring your reusable mug and fill up at the nearest drinking fountain or provide your own beverage of choice.
