When it is Hard to be Human: Lessons from the Holocaust
Authors Eva Fogelman and Roald Hoffmann will guide a panel discussion, moderated by author Dan Schwarz, exploring why some bystanders and perpetrators in the midst of genocide were compelled to risk their lives and resist authority. Participants will also examine what role does conscience and moral courage play in confronting hate today? The panel discussion will be followed by a Q&A session.
