As flu season approaches, it’s time to protect yourself—and those around you—by getting a flu shot here right on campus. Staying up to date with vaccinations is one of the most effective ways to protect yourself, your friends, your co-workers, and your family from serious illness.
 

Conducted by the Department of Health Sciences and Public Health in conjunction with Cayuga Health System, this flu vaccination event is a convenient opportunity for Ithaca College community members—students, faculty, and staff—to receive a flu shot in a minimal amount of time, while supplies last. Reserve your flu shot by registering for a timeslot today. Walk-ins are also welcome.

Participants should plan their apparel appropriately to receive a shot in the upper arm. Students, faculty, and staff enrolled in an IC-sponsored health insurance plan through Aetna receive full coverage for flu shots administered at this event. Campus community members who are not covered under an IC-sponsored health insurance plan through Aetna are encouraged to check with their insurance provider for more information. Although annual flu shots are typically fully covered by most health insurance plans, individuals are encouraged to confirm coverage with their provider prior to booking an appointment to avoid any unforeseen fees.
