The New York Film and Television Student Alliance (NYFTSA) invites Ithaca College students to the School of Business Room 103 on March 20 at 7 p.m. to hear from Chicago P.D. Writer Elena Perez.

Elena Perez, an East Coast native, left her career in marketing and technology to break through the TV writing industry. She developed her craft and portfolio in her free time before joining her first television writers room during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic writing for NBC's "Chicago P.D.." During her time with NYFTSA, she'll talk about her journey and offer tips about how to find your footing as you navigate the entertainment business. Elena will join virtually, and the event is open to all Ithaca College students.
