Cooper Rothman, Career Counselor for the School of Music, Theatre and Dance, and Ashley Troutman, Internship and Student Employment Specialist, will do a deep dive into the history of the word "professionalism" in the workplace as a code for discriminatory practices against womxn and other minoritized populations, and how some of these practices continue to this day. They'll then give resources on how to research employers and identify a diverse network to find the organization that allows you to be your authentic and intersectional self after graduation.

Presented by Cooper Rothman, Career Engagement Specialist, Center for Career Exploration and Development and Ashley Troutman, Internship and Student Employment Specialist, Center for Career Exploration and Development
