Job 103 - Center for Instructional Design and Educational Technology

The Center for Instructional Design and Educational Technology, in concert with the Center for Faculty Excellence, is pleased to invite you to a faculty-facilitated lunch discussion series focused on the applications and issues of recent advances in generative AI in teaching and learning. This faculty-led and focused series, co-sponsored by the CIE and CFE, is intended to facilitate collaboration among teaching peers at Ithaca College.

These open faculty discussions will take place 12:00-1:00PM, Wednesday October 30th, in Job 103, the Center for Instructional Design and Educational Technology.

Please bring your lunch and ideas, concerns, and experiences with the use of generative AI tools in your teaching practice! There is no need or pressure to attend every discussion.

Time: 12:00-1:00 PM
Location: Job 103, the Center for Instructional Design and Educational Technology

Bring your own lunch – snacks and hot drinks will be provided.

This series is an opportunity for faculty to:

  • Share experiences with incorporating artificial intelligence into teaching and learning
  • Discuss any challenges or difficulties faced by you or students
  • Explore best practices and innovative strategies
  • Network with colleagues interested in AI applications in education

Whether you're a seasoned AI user or just beginning to explore its potential, your insights are invaluable. Let's collaborate to enhance our teaching methodologies and address any hurdles together.

We look forward to your participation and lively discussions!

Warmly,

The CIE & the CFE
