It's particularly important for first-year and transfer students to get connected with mentors in their early days at Ithaca College, in order to develop meaningful and beneficial connections. Mentorship comes in various forms and has been proven to contribute to success in a student's academic career. However, students may face unique challenges when it comes to securing mentors. Not having a mentor who can provide invaluable work and life advice, support, and advocacy can have an impact on your professional development and access to opportunities. Come to this session to learn about the power of mentorship, start identifying areas you want support in, and take the first steps in finding your own mentors.

Presented by Mame Ndiaye, Assistant Director of New Student and Transition Programs and Caryanne Keenan, Director of New Student and Transition Programs
