Founder’s Day Concert in the Park

The Ithaca College Band Program will present an afternoon of wind band music in DeWitt Park as part of the 30th annual Founder's Day Celebration. The IC Wind Ensemble will perform Kimberly Archer's new fanfare, Fanfare Politeia written for the 59th U.S. presidential inauguration, a march by Ithaca College's earliest band leader Patrick Conway, George Gershwin's Someone to Watch Over Me featuring mezzo-soprano Ivy Walz, Sousa's Stars and Stripes Forever, and more! The Wind Symphony's repertoire selection will include Italian Rhapsody by Julie Giroux, Leroy Anderson's A Trumpeter's Lullaby, Conga del Fuego Nuevo by Arturo Marquez, and a tribute to our Armed Forces.
