Information Has Value: Knowing Why We Cite & Making it Easy with Zotero (Leading Self)
Students learn to respect the work of others through giving credit. Scholarly information is intellectual property owned by the author/creators; to take it without attribution is stealing or plagiarism. Citing is an ethical practice and part of scholarly communication. The cost of journals are compared to other commodities to demonstrate market value. This program should make citing information easier by learning how to install and apply free citation management tools. Zotero will be demonstrated. Students should bring their laptops to load Zotero software.
