Intervene: Bystander Intervention Training

Intervene was developed by Cornell University and they have granted us permission to implement the program at Ithaca College. The Intervene program helps students identify pro-social bystander intervention skills to safely intervene in seven situations. This will be the cornerstone program for IC Responsibility! The remaining programs offered by campus partners will help participants develop skills in how to address microaggressions, implicit bias, drug and alcohol overdose prevention and sexual violence prevention. This session is facilitated by Elyse Nepa and Omar Stoute and counts for credit in the IC Responsibility bystander intervention certification program.
