About this Event
Mindfulness fosters many aspects of our physical and mental health, from improved immune functions to lower blood pressure to reduction of the stress and anxiety we experience daily. Mindfulness can also help decrease our emotional reactivity and increase our sense of general wellbeing. This interactive and lively class is appropriate both for beginners and established practitioners. Together, we will learn and practice Mindfulness Meditation, as well as a range of other techniques for recognizing and responding to stress mindfully. This 45-min. class will meet in person at 6 pm in Muller Chapel on the following Mondays: 01/31 , 02/07, 02/14, 02/21, 02/28 and 03/07. No prior meditation experience required.
