Lyric Theatre Ensemble
The inaugural performance of Lyric Theatre Ensemble (the class formerly known as Opera Workshop) will present a musical collage of lyric repertoire from a variety of genres, composers, and writers. The presentation will explore the relationship between music and movement in an avant-garde presentation. Each character has developed a through-line as they weave through a variety of psycho-physical exercises in community. Compositions by: Marc Adamo, Amy Cheney Beach, Leonard Bernstein, Margaret Bonds, Benjamin Britten, Jodi Goble, Adam Guettel, Betty Jackson King, Jonathan Larson, Undine Smith Moore, Rosephanye Powell, Stephen Sondheim, Arthur Sullivan, Howard Swanson, and Kurt Weill.
Free, open to the public
