Join us to welcome School of Business Fall 2024 Keynote Speaker Ed Glazer '92!

Entering his 30th season with the Buccaneers in 2024, Owner/Co-Chairman Edward Glazer actively oversees many aspects of the team's day-to-day business operations.

Glazer recognizes the critical importance of the fans to the team's success and has been instrumental in reinforcing Tampa Bay's commitment to its fan base and the unique experiences offered to Buccaneers Season Pass Members. He pioneered the NFL's first 12-month interest-free payment plan. Under his leadership, the Buccaneers ranked No. 1 in overall customer satisfaction again in 2023 among all 32 NFL clubs, marking the team's tenth top ranking in the last twelve years.

Glazer's commitment to the fans and the team's on-field success was evident during the 2020 offseason, which saw the Buccaneers make one of the most significant free-agent signings in NFL history with the acquisition of quarterback Tom Brady. This strategic move, coupled with several other key signings, culminated in the team's historic Super Bowl LV victory, making it the first NFL franchise to win a Super Bowl on its home field, at Raymond James Stadium on February 7, 2021. This secured the organization's second world championship under the Glazer family's leadership.

Under the nearly three decades of the Glazer family's stewardship, the Buccaneers have logged nine playoff appearances, seven division titles, two NFC Championships, and victories in Super Bowl XXXVII (2002) and Super Bowl LV (2020).

In addition to team achievements, Glazer led the design and launch of the Buccaneers' new uniforms unveiled before the 2020 season. The uniforms, which harken back to the franchise's most successful era, were developed based on extensive fan feedback. Glazer also led the design of an all-pewter alternate uniform along with the return of the throwback uniforms, which are a fan favorite, further connecting the team's storied history with its modern era.

Glazer was pivotal in the $160 million, multi-phase renovation of Raymond James Stadium, focusing on enhancing the game-day experience. These renovations included updates to the stadium's technology infrastructure, making the Buccaneers' in-stadium experience one of the best in the league. The project revamped all main level concession stands and incorporated over 31,000 square feet of new HD video boards, new ribbon boards, four HD tower video displays, and an all-new surround sound system. The premium areas saw a complete transformation, introducing two all-inclusive Hall of Fame Clubs and a newly reimagined West Stadium Club. Recent additions have included a new 10,000-square-foot retail store, the expansions and redesigns of both Hall of Fame clubs, and Bar 76, a full-service premium sports bar.

Furthermore, the Glazer family constructed a state-of-the-art indoor practice facility at the team's headquarters. This 100,000-square-foot facility features more than 3,000 seats for fans to enjoy training camp practices and special events.

Beyond the football field, the Glazer family has contributed significantly to the Tampa Bay area through various programs, grants, and donations. The Glazer Children's Museum, located downtown, has received high praise, including being named as one of the Top 10 children's museums in the country. During the spring of 2020, to assist during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Glazer family donated five million meals through Feeding Tampa Bay and pledged significant funds to local relief efforts.

Edward and his wife, Shari, through the Edward and Shari Glazer Charitable Trust, support various causes, including the Elton John AIDS Foundation, the Braille Institute, the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art, and the "B.F.F. Bear Program" which provides teddy bears to pediatric patients in several hospitals.

In addition to his role with the Buccaneers, Glazer serves on the board of the family-owned Manchester United Soccer Club, the world's most popular sports team. He is also the founder and CEO of US Property Trust and US Auto Trust, holding extensive real estate and auto dealership investments across the United States.

A proud alumnus of Ithaca College, Glazer opened the Edward and Shari Glazer Arena on the school's campus.
