We are so pleased to be welcoming Nizar Farsakh, Chair of the Board of the Museum of the Palestinian People and Uriel Abulof from the Department Of Government at Cornell.

Farsakh and Abulof will be presenting Tuesday, November 2nd from 7:30 to 9 PM in Muller Chapel to share their respective understanding of the origins and current state of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict through a joint conversation incorporating their personal family stories.

Farsakh has worked for two years with the Project on Middle East Democracy and has served as the General Director of the PLO Delegation in Washington DC.

Abulof is an associate professor at Tel-Aviv University’s School of Political Science, Government and International Affairs.

Hillel is calling this program, which will offer multiple historical narratives to participants, “Side by Side”.  It's co-sponsored by ORSL.

This is an important educational and very unique event-- one modeling a rarity in our current state of political affairs-- dialogue through different perspectives.  It is taking place on the evening of the Israeli election, and I am confident it will have a tremendous impact on attendees.  I hope you are one of them!  Spread the word for us, so we can have the most impact possible.

Hope you are all well, and to see you soon!
