The Students of Color Coalition (SOCC) is facilitated by BIPOC Unity Center staff and focuses organizing collaborative efforts amongst students of color to foster unity and solidarity across the greater Ithaca College community. All members play an important role in giving input and feedback on any and all things that are created by the coalition. Their goal is to use a decentralized structure that holds everyone accountable and responsible for their part in the unity. Efforts range from movie screenings and discussions to town hall meetings. These meetings are typically held monthly throughout the academic year.
