Join the Ithaca College Wind Ensemble for an unforgettable evening of sonic metamorphosis in a program centered around transformation-of sound, spirit, and storytelling.

The journey begins with Reena Esmail's vibrant "Tuttarana," fusing Indian classical forms with Western technique in a cross-cultural burst of rhythm and energy. We then launch into Mason Bates' electrifying "Mothership," where live soloists dock with a pulsing electronic soundscape-reimagining the ensemble as a futuristic hub of improvisation.

Lindsey Bronnenkant's "Tarot" invites listeners into a richly colored world where archetypes evolve before our ears, reflecting personal and universal transformation. Then, the iconic "Lincolnshire Posy" by Percy Grainger paints portraits of English folk life-each movement a transformation of the human voice into instrumental poetry.

Finally, the program concludes with the "March" from Paul Hindemith's Symphonic Metamorphosis, a brilliant reworking of Weber's themes into something entirely new-bold, whimsical, and unmistakably modern.
