Join faculty and students for a book group reading of Drs Bowen and Watson’s Teaching with AI: A Practical Guide to a New Era of Human Learning . The groups will meet every other week during the Spring semester, beginning the week of February 9, 2026, in the Center for Faculty Excellence. Facilitated by faculty and members from the Center for Faculty Excellence and the Center for Instructional Design & Educational Technology, this series offers space for reflection, dialogue, and community around the use of AI and its impact on teaching and learning.

This book holds relevance for all educators and students, offering insights and practical suggestions for integrating AI effectively into teaching and learning environments across disciplines and contexts while also tackling crucial questions and emerging issues. A free copy of the book will be provided to all participants.

We have three book groups available on various days and times, giving you several choices so you can pick what fits your schedule. Choose a session that works for you and sign up to secure your place.

  • Option A - Mondays, 2:00 – 2:50 pm
  • Option B - Mondays, 3:00 - 3:50 pm
  • Option C – Thursdays, 1:00 – 1:50 pm
