About this Event
Join the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life in welcoming LGBT+-identifying religious leaders to discuss the intersections of their queer & religious identities. Many times, queer-identifying individuals fear rejection from their religion; some may even actually experience said rejection. The purpose of this conversation is to allow students to understand that religious identity and LGBT-identity do not need to battle against each other; in fact, they can complement each other.
Co-sponsored by the LGBT Center, this event will last 90 minutes, with approximately 20 minutes given to the speaker(s) followed by time for discussion and Q&A.
