The IC Wind Ensemble performs a powerful program entitled "In Remembrance." We reflect on the 80th anniversary of the "Big Week" of battles of World War 2, and of the aftermath of US conflicts in the early 2000s. Our program unfolds featuring the healing power of music. We remember composer David Del Tredici, who writes, "Composing music at such a time may have seemed an irrelevant pursuit, but it nevertheless served to keep me sane, stable and sanguine, despite the world's spiraling maelstrom."

Joining the Wind Ensemble will be 2023-24 Arnald Gabriel Guest Conductor Dr. Travis Cross, Director of Bands at UCLA.
