This performance, titled "Turbulence," is the opening concert for the Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival (FLEFF) and will feature spoken word written by Cynthia Henderson and narrated by Saviana Stănescu. The IC Wind Ensemble performs a concert cycle of joyous music that is sure to inspire and restore as we enter the spring season. We feature faculty percussionist Conrad Alexander on a regional premiere of a newly commissioned concerto by Ukrainian-Australian composer Cathy Likhuta, and other works by Alfred Reed and Vittorio Giannini.
