About this Event
When applying for an internship or job, it can often feel like you're just another resume in the pile. For women, we've historically been told to be humble and not to talk about ourselves - which is an added struggle in an interview where that's the whole point. How do you talk about yourself when you feel like you don't have any "real experience" to highlight? In this workshop we'll walk through how to craft speaking points to advocate for yourself and stand out from the crowd. You'll walk away with: a) Tips to craft a bio and speaking points that don't feel generic and help you stand out as an applicant, b) Make a game plan to start refining how you talk about yourself, c) Don'ts of buzzwords to avoid, and d) Examples of engaging introductions.
